I have a big gun race exhaust. the bottom of the pipe is riveted, and needs to be drilled out. I need to remove the exhaust pipe from the bike. I have everything off, but where the springs hold the headers to the pipe, I cannot get it to budge...any ideas?

If you have the same Race Series that I have then there is no "mid pipe". Straight shot from the cansiter to the headers. Undo the bolt securing the canister to the subframe, undo the springs, soak the two joints with some penetrating fluid, tap that canister base towards the rear of the bike with a mallet and walla...
Once you re-rivet the cannister don't forget to coat those joints to the header with ultra copper.
Doesn't the end cap come off of your Big Gun??? I only took mine apart as stated above because I was getting blow by from the rivets being loose. Put new, bigger ones in to fix that issue.
