Looking at a 2007 outlander 400.
Has 2000kms on it. But very well taken care of.
Not sure, is 2000 a lot of miles.
What can i expect too get out of one.
They will take 4000 for it.
thanks mike

Are we talking 2000 miles or kilometers? My quad is approaching 1800 miles and I would say that I should be able to get at least another couple thousand out of it (with a little luck). As far as the price however...I would have a very tough time paying 4 grand for a quad that is 4 years old and has that mileage (especially being a 400). Have you compared this price to other quads in your area? Well anyhow...good luck with your decision and enjoy your quad when you get it. Good Luck.

The other option is a arctic cat 500 with 900 kms.
The can am has 1200 milies/ or 2000 kms.
Artic cat is 5000 and the can am is 4000. That is the going rate for these quads.
Just cant decide on which one.

Depends on what type of riding. In WI we do on average 300 miles in a day. Trails are groomed and there is very little abuse to the quads. My XP has 2k on it and looks & drives like new. If it was more rocky or muddy riding then it would be a different story.

My buddy had an original 550 Griz and has over 6000 miles on it. He's had to do some work, but looks like new.
I would think with the rotex engine Cam-Am quads should last even longer without to much work.
