I think it's a niche vehicle. Not as big as an Outty Max based XMR, great mudding ability right from the factory, and enough engine for the 28s. There are still plenty of 800s around and the really power hungry crowd can still get the 1000. I think it's a great idea. I've also wondered why they never have made a 650 based Renegade too.
