better work just bought the thing lol ill call my friend over to check the valves and what not i think he has the tools. ill get back to you with what i find.

The ds has a compression release lever in it, you can not do a compression test on it. you have to do a leak down test. check out the manuel recheck the timing put the tdc bolt in and line up the cam marks lobes facing out adjust the valves to about .005

 

Should I put it in tdc and set the valves before doing a leakdown ? Also I do not have a tdc bolt but I can make one correct ? By grinding the end of a bolt down a little ? This is great to know was very frustrated why the compression test showed 0. What should I look for in the manual ? I have an online one I downloaded should be good. Ill have to find a leakdown tester as well! Thanks very much
