i have no spark at either of the two spark plugs. i have been trying to diagnose this problem for a few days now. i have tested the kill switch and has correct resistance in off and run. the fuses under seat are good. the ignition coils have correct resistance. i cleaned all grounds and battery terminals. i have a fluke meter and checked continuity between all wires from start to finish and all come up with low resistance. i did however get 225 ohms on the trigger pickup coil which is within the limits in the factory service manual. but the ac voltage was low compared to the fsm. i had .05vac and manual says you should have 0.4 to 0.7 Vac. so i purchased a new pickup coil from can am and i have the same results in ac voltage and resistance. could it really be a new bad pickup coil? i did set to proper .03" gap and the magnet was still on flywheel. are these numbers correct from can am or is my finding to be within spec? also this bike does have a procom cdi box, is there a way to test this unit? i see in the fsm you do a resistance test between connector terminals. if this is a true and accurate test, my cdi box is bad. i bought this bike cheap and dont want to keep throwing parts at it. please help!! thank you in advance.
