LA Dunes

I just went to Little Sahara last weekend ,and had a blast. It was my first time out there! Finally got to see what every body has been talking about. The DS is a Dune machine, for sure.I watched those crasy guys, hydroing across the ponds, and the sun set on the one side of the dunes and a full moon on the other side.I must say a I was in awe!Seen several other sharp DS's out there, with different goodies on them.Plenty of races on the drag strip too.The DS will definitly hold it's own, with the big boy's,but I am sure that a turbo DS will scare the big boys away! Be safe out there because, last thursday (the day before I went out there) a guy I know went out there and his friend got killed. He got bucked off his quad, and was siting their at the bottom of a hill and his future brother in law came over the hill on a Polaris and cliped his back.He got back up,and sead he needed to catch his breath, but He died before they could get the ambulance buggy to him. They were all drinking ,and now they are charging the guy, that hit him with involuntary manslaughter. What a shame. He told me that in the last 15 years,3 people have died at Little Sahara, and 2 were in dune buggys and now this one.All had alcohol involved.

Yes my 22x8x10 razorbacks rub the front fenders, so I remove them for the dunes. The DS looks meaner this way in my opinion. The turbo was custom built by Steve Benson at Hymark Performance/Advanced Turbo Systems www.atsturbo.com. It is not a production kit, but some parts may be available separately. Eventually I will have a bunch of pics on the web, and some video, but it could be a while though...
