"We" is Ron Wood Racing, and we're here in Costa Mesa. We make go-fast parts for the DS650. The new ignition amplifier box retails for $298.00. It gives more advance on the bottom, doesn't retard the timing over 6500 like the stock box, and eliminates the rev limiter. This is a Rotax factory part, not available through any other Rotax distributor.

This is a race amplifier box from Rotax, and as such has no limiter. If you still have stock valve springs, chances are that you are floating the valves at about 8500 RPM.

We haven't installed on here yet, but TVI Power & Sports in Hillsboro, Oregon has installed a set and they are very happy. Also, NDB SPorts in Quebec is running a set on their race DS and have been having very good results, recently winning a 12-hour ice race with their quad.
