Not sure if this should be in this forum or kids quads. As repairs are required I thought I might get more insight here. My apologies if I’m mistaken. Feel free to move if needed. I just picked up an 2011 or 2012 Can Am DS90. I trusted what the seller told me and hope I didn’t make a grave mistake. Electric start not working. Said needs new safety switch. See pic it appears obvious. Also kickstart he had a bungy cord on as he stated it would not retract all the way back. Apparently a very cheap spring. Need to order parts but I’m not sure what to tell the dealer. Any insight here folks. I’m not overly mechanically inclined so your input is appreciated.

 

Looks like the brake handle includes that part.
