2021 Outlander North edition Pricing
#1
Hi -
Its been about 16 years exactly since I first purchased a 2004 Polaris HO 500 ATV. Well, it's time to buy a new one and I'm leaning toward a 2021 CAN AM Outlander North Edition. The MSRP is $10,999. What should I expect to pay for the base unit? I'm located in Wisconsin and I do get it that pricing will very by area and dealer, but I need to have a ballpark idea where I should be.
Appreciate any feedback you all may have.

I've bought a few Can Am ATVs over the years, and pricing varies greatly from one dealer to the next. Our local dealer charges full MSRP, plus a dealer set up fee, shipping, tax, registration, and a tire recycling fee. There is no negotiation, so take it or leave it. He is very reasonable on trade in though, and typically gives you about $1000 more for your trade in. Another dealer is 50 miles away, and advertises good prices, but when you get there they add at least 3 additional fees beyond the "usual" fees, so the final price is higher than going to the local dealer and paying full MSRP. I don't buy there, and recently I haven't even shopped there. Another dealer I use frequently is 140 miles away, and they will typically sell a new Can Am ATV for $1000 off MSRP, plus sales tax and registration. He doesn't charge for shipping, dealer set up, or any other fees. He is hit and miss when it comes to trade in though, and sometimes doesn't give you what you want. I always use the dealer that is 140 miles away when I am buying a new ATV with no trade in, and about 75% of the time when I am trading in an ATV.

Right now its going to be take it or leave it pricing no matter what brand you buy... Machines are very limited every ware non of my local dealers have anything and are not expecting anything for most of the summer.. I did not think 2021 would roll out to the dealers for another 3-4 months since they were just released a few days ago. Sounds like a fair price to me as the north edition in Canada is 4000 more my 2020 850xp was around 18000 by the time it was out the door...

When I bu8y new I go to at least 2 dealers and ask them what the out-the-door price is including fees and taxes. The two I used for the Can-Am Outlander Max 1000r Limited were very close in price, about $1000 off. When one wouldn't go lower he offered a $50 gift card. I mentioned it to the other dealer who gave me the better price and got a $50 card too.
