One of my front shocks broke off where the shaft screws into the top mount and (the shaft)is bent in a 90 degree angle. Has anyone had a shock failure on their machine I have works shocks on the way the part I hate the most is two of my riding buddies just got Raptors and I got to hear about them riding all weekend

You are going to love your new Works shocks! Those RydeFX shocks suck really bad, or to be more technical, they have excessive rebound dampening and don't allow the shock to rebound fast enough when taking repeated hits. So don't be mad, be glad, you are going to wish those POS stock shocks had broken earlier.

I dont have a DS, or a Raptor. I have ridden both, and would take the DS anyday. I dont have extensive experience on it, but can say the same fourlix did. The stock shocks suck. They have 12" i think of travel, and my R with works shocks with about 10.5-11" will eat them alive.

Welcome to the club, both of mine broke the very same way!! I also got a set of the works shocks and love them they are waaaayyy better than the crappy stock shocks. The rebound is much better and they are almost impossable to bottom out. Well anyway you will love the shocks and the failure of the stock shocks seems to be getting more and more frequient ???
