I am looking to a get a rear storage rack for the back of the DS and it looks like basically two brands PRM and Armadillo. What do you guys think? PRM looks to have a '6 Pack Rack' for $65 and a 'Cargo Rack' for $130, difference being the Cargo Rack carries two one gallon fuel containers in additon to the cooler. The Armadillo Out-N-Bak Rack for $79 holds 1 one gallon fuel container and the cooler and comes with the gallon container. Does anyone know the quality difference(s) or if one is better set up than the other?

Thanks for the photo's and info. 3TV. I have emailed PRM asking for more information on the 'Cargo Rack' as they don't list any information about it on their website for the DS as you said. It looks like a pretty cool set up. Just from the pictures I have seen of it and the Armadillo the PRM looks to be made better. The bottoms of the three openings look to be more enclosed and not just straps across. In looking at the Cargo Racks they had listed for other quads it looked like the two one gallon cans and straps were an additional $20 and not included in the $130 but not sure.

For $79 bucks the Armadillo out'n back rack is a great deal. Quality is top notch, all 1/4" material. The loop on the exhaust side holds an army canteen. I literally sledged a Coleman cooler into it, their new mid-size model, 'cause I too wanted as much cooler back there as I could get. The rack and the cooler survived the installation and many rides since. It is a perfect set-up. I now have a digital camera but am having troubles with the software and figuring out where I can post pics for free. We also have an Armadillo skid on the Raptor. It is 1/4" also and holding up great, despite, Skyler's failure to miss rocks.
Both these companies make good stuff, You'll be happy with either rack.
