Wanyne,

That is nice that you have been here for 4 years. Please tell us when your 5th anniversary will be -- we can get you 5 candles to blow. LOL

There is too much crap going on in this world for you to be mad about a couple of guys doing some bench racing. Get a grip man or have Scotty beam you up.

I have to agree with Raptor 720 on this[I never thought I'd say that,LOL]. Our banter back and forth is nothing but well intentioned bench racing. He is proud of what he has, and I'm proud of the motors I build. I have actually gone into the Yamaha forum and ended up doing the same thing with him there. It's all in fun.

We'll settle it at Dumont. Thanksgiving weekend. Are you down for that Raptor?
It's half way between us and I shouldn't have to come all the way down to you.
I'd actually like to run into one of them that actually runs well and holds together. Bye the way, I've got an extended swing arm now, so I don't have an excuse if you take me[I doubt I'll need one anyway.LOL].

Knutz,

Dumont? You should make the trek on out to Pismo for that weekend! I've got a long planned trip to be there it'ed be cool to see the 760 do more than act as a table for a magazine article write-up about itself. I'm sure one of these days you're bound to show up at the same location as I'm at. Should prove to be amusing.

Kuntz,

I saw your new swing arm at the Sand Show. Not bad. And the color of the DS -- all black, is a big improvement over yellow but it is still kinda funny looking and still a DS. You may have a fast one but how many people are willing to spend what your charge just to get the claimed 75hp?? I get just under that with a mild cam, porting and 105mm piston in the 660. Adding a bigger cam and a small stroke change puts it just under 80hp. I did not even bother lightening the crank, balancer, starter gear or clutch assy.

What I did notice with the big hp engine is that the added power is really not necessary unless you just want to drag race. The 102mm is really the thing for fun duning and dirt trail riding.

Just my thoughts.

Raptor, I've corrected you on this befor, the name is knutz, not kuntz! If you doing this intentionaly, then your blatent disrespect ends any fun we may be having with our bench racing. If your still doing it accidently, it explaines why your not bright enough to realize that your Raptor has not any chance to beat me and still live through a season. If you want to believe other advertizers claims, good for you. You know were I'll be and when I'll be there, maybe this time you'll have the intestinal fortituded to let me know who you are[unlike at the show last weekend]. I doubt you'll introduce yourself after I whoop your raptor up comp hill. You'll just slink away like all the other raptor owners. I'f you were confident, you'de not only show up, but introduce yourself befor the race. I won't exactly hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

Added power that is not needed? Sounds like a Raptor rider to me. The 703 is the best bang for the buck, but the 760 is the basis for the baddest motors around.

As far as how many are willing, enough to keep my doors open and let me keep growing. Most of my 760 owners are willing to spend what is needed to run ahead of the pack and still have reliable, trail worthy power on tap at all times.

Blackhawk, the 760 is out on a regular basis. Just because I made it look good for a show doesn't mean it's nothing more than a table.

Gee, I guess if I don't bring it to each readers front yard and kick there ash with it, it must just be a show table. I was at Pismo for the magazine test, were where you?

If people are so convinced that it's not what I claim it is, why do they insist that I come to them to prove that? Dumont is half way, if you want to see it in action, you can come the other half, if not, you can read about it in Dirt Wheels.

Knutz,

I wasn't trying to ruffle your feathers, I'm just hoping I'll be one of the people who can say they've seen your kit in action. Hey, maybe one day I'll be shopping for that sort of boost. Though I have a feeling I'll have to buy my g/f something better to ride than a Mojave first.

Sorry if my responce was a little harsh, I work hard at making sure the public gets to see my motors[unlike other engine builders, with there exagerated claims]. As more of them get out there, you'll see one eventually. [or you could get one of your own. lol]
