What should I get????

Justin if I were you I would hold off for about 6 months. There should be bigger field to pick from then. With new sports quads coming from Suzuki and Polaris. Then you have the Rumors of new quads from Kawasaki, Honda, and Bombardier. If you can’t hold out that long go for the DS

Justin, haven't been on a C-dale or ridden with anyone that has one, so other than to say that they seem to break everytime one of the magazines takes one out for a test ride, I don't know much about them. But I did have a 400EX and am now riding a DS650.
The Honda is a great bike with no design flaws (e.x. weak axel, faulty air box, quirky handling, etc). It's dependable, easy to maintain, and is very forgiving to ride. It's the most confidence inspiring high performance/sport quad you'll ever ride. That's why Honda has sold do many of them. The few things I didn't like about mine were the cramped seating position, wimpy exaust note (fixed that with a Supertrapp slip on), and lack of power. You can hop one up to be pretty fast, but then you loose some of the long term reliability that makes it so appealing in the first place.
The DS has none of the short comings of the EX, but does have a couple of design flaws. It's got all kinds of power, but the crappy stock tires don't always let you put it to good use. Also, the stock Douglass .190's get beat up in a hurry. The front end geometry is less than perfect, which can make it feel harsh and jittery. Other than that it's a very cool machine; much faster than the EX in most situations, way more comfortable, goes alot farther on a tank of gas, better lighting, and you can actually ride it in the mud without a pair of roll-offs.
Which brings me back to the lack of design flaws on the Honda, mud protection is non-existant, so I guess there is one.

Ok trxter, my cuz own's a 400ex and i like it alot. He has a raptor also, but the think it is junk. Like he went threw a new tranny, blew 2nd gear and 4th. gear. His carb's blow all the time, but we found out how to fix that problem. I just want something to keep up with him when we are ridin. My warrior is a tank u see. I have some mods on it to make it faster.I heard cannondale in have troubles but i am not gettin a newer bike intill next summer. i still have a while too.
