What is faster Quest 650 or Grissly 660

Roys,
I have to agree with Traxtorick on this - I haven't noticed any of what you describe from the front diff. of my Quest - it works great in both snow and mud (though I haven't had it in much snow yet). The Bomb front diff. is so smooth you can barely feel it.
Cheers,

TRAXTERICK,I HAVE RIDDEN THE 500 TRAX IN SNOW ON TRAILS THAT WERE SOFT AND WELL USED AND IT WAS NOT A GOOD TIME.THIS WAS WITH STOCK TIRES.SINCE THEN MY FRIEND HAS PUT 27 MUDBUGS ON AND IS HOPING THAT THIS YEAR IN THE SNOW IT WILL BE BETTER.THATS HIS ONLY BIG COMPLAINT,AS WELL A LITTLE TIGHT FOR SOME TRAILS.OVER ALL VERY HAPPY.THE NEW AC LOOK IS FINE ,I GUESS THE HEAD LIGHTS ARE MUCH BETTER.I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ON MINE YET.ONLY 2000 MILES ON IT THUOGH.THE 589 ARE A VERY GOOD TIRE,EVEN ON HARD FIRE ROADS THEY ARE NOT ROUGH.I WOUND RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE,,THEY ARE ON THE HEAVY SIDE THOUGH,THATS ALL.A GREAT TIRE FOR STUDDING WITH CARS TIRE STUDS,THE LUG IS DEEP AND SOLID(WINTER RIDING).

I agree with both of these comments! the stock tires aren't great - I'll upgrade mine once these are worn out. The Traxtor/Quest frame is a little bigger than most of the other big-bore machines, I've noticed it twice on the trails I ride (had to find an alternate route because the Quest was 1" to wide to fit between some trees!). Good thing Bombardier offers a fender protector kit

I now have 40 miles on my new quest TX650 and all i have to say was with the discounts and rebates this was the best rig for the money and it sure makes going to the store for smokes a hell of a lot more fun! he he he

I don't know if you have noticed yet, but it's not right to even put the Traxter in the same sentence as the Grizzly 660, Praire 650 twin, and SP700 twin. There is just no way that a 500cc machine can compete with 650cc+ machines, some of them with twin cylinders! That's like comparing a Mustang to a Viper, there's just no competition- period. But the Quest is a different story. I'm sure the Quest could definitely give any of these big machines a run for their money.
Like I said before, don't try to say a smaller machine can out perform a bigger machine in terms of power, you're just making yourself look stupid. Good day.
