Have you seen the new Suzuki Z400!!!!!!!!!

Respectfully... The DS is a nice bike, but lets not go overboard. Its too big. Its too heavy. Thats why it has a huge chain. Go to the Honda forum and ask how many 400EX owners have broken a chain. (properly maintained) Same thing with the yamaha. Ask how many Banshee owners have broken a chain from it being to small and weak. Hardly EVER happens. So, why the added weight?
The DS is the widest. hmm. Wider is better.. for motocrossing. The DS is hardly a motocrosser.
My 400EX isnt tippy in the slightest, and it is a hell of a motocrosser.
The American made DS dosnt have the "most quality" anything. They are new at making quads. Like Cannondale, they did not just jump into the quad market and surpass everyone else in build quality. I will believe that when I see it running around with a perfectly running 300 or 400EX in 15 years. (There are MANY stock 250Rs running around, not to mention MANY MANY MANY 200X's and 350X 3 wheelers still running VERY strong after 15-20 years)

Dont get me wrong, Im sure it needs the 530 now!!!! being almoast 500 lbs...
My point was, dont diss the 400EX or the Raptor, or Banshee because they dont have the huge chain..... They arnt heavy enough to need it. Putting the 530 on these bikes would be extra dead weight. Even a seriously modded banshee probably does fine with the stock chain. (assuming the chain is maintained)

Mr.350x-Why don't you go to your forum with the other ten people in the world who still own a 350x. Who gives a crap what chain size the DS has. They built this bike heavy so it would last a long time. If you knew anything you would know that a 530 is not always stronger than a 520. I have 520 on my DS, my 100 horse banshee, and my 400 horse 1000cc nitrous injected drag bike-so what. If you come into this forum talk about something that someone might actually care about. And by the way, I have a 400 ex too,15 hours on it and I have had to tighten every bolt on it. No bike is perfect. And in 10 to 15 years I don't want to look like you riding around on some has been bike wearing a no face helmet. This thread is suposed to be about the new Suzuki.

Well.... you wont have to worry about that, now will you!!
Your DS will not be running in 15 years! (or two, for that matter)
So, what your telling me is that the 530 on the DS is not needed. Especially since you have a
520 on your "100 horse banshee" and your "400 horse 1000cc nitrous injected drag bike".
In other words, Bomb is just adding unnessasary dead weight. Smart.
Hey, Other bomb people. I do not often put down other brands. (Exept maybe Polaris ) I have my respect for anyone who is interested in this sport, regardless of what they buy. Obviously, jbomb does not, with is personal insults, and putting down other peoples machines.
What a d!ckhead.

I'm not the one on other forums putting down their bikes. If the DS is to heavy and wide for you that is great. Everyone that has a DS knows how heavy it is, maybe you will get roosted by one when your little 3 wheeler falls down in the sand.

That is what I have been trying to say. All these people that have never even ridden a DS always have to come up with something negative. And when they get jealous enough they will say something stupid like the size of the chain is to big.

Hey mr.350x Rotax has been building engines for almost 50 years. It is a now a subsidery (sp?) of Bombardier. It supplies the engines for Ski-Doo Snowmobiles, Sea-Doo Watercraft, Ski-Doo ATVs, some BMW Motorcycles, Apprilla Motorcycles and is the prefered motor for Ultra Lite Aircraft Users. Yeah, I'm sure there are a lot of Honda Powered Aircraft out there. I have a pretty good feeling the DS and all of Bombarider products will be running for a long time. Which include by the way, Lear Jets, De Haviland Airplanes, and a bunch of rail systems around the world.
The new 4 wheeler is sweet! The headlight looks like it came off a Hayabusa Motorcycle. Liquid cooled 400 motor will flat out spank the 400ex. Sorry, but thats just the way it will be. Won't say anything else about it untill I ride one.
