They look cool, but the way the specs read, it sounds like the 50 cant go faster than 10 mph and the two 90s cant break 15 mph.
"They have factory restricted maximums of 16 kph (10 mph) for the DS50 (recommended for riders over six years old*), and 24 kph (15 mph) for the DS90 and DS90 4-stroke (recommended for riders over twelve years old*)"
and then they also say, "...and a built-in throttle limiter that allows further lowering of the maximum speed according to each rider's ability."
If this is true, and the max speed cannot be raised, then I will never buy one. Sure, I dont want my 4 year old to go over 10 or 15 now, but what about when he is 5 or 6 or 7?

The DS50 is factory set for 10 mph. It can be slowed down a little with the throttle adjusting screw about 5 turns any more and the clutch will not engage. The screw can also be backed out for a max speed of about 18mph. My 6 year old goes almost every place that my other quads go, a little more suspension travel would be very useful in the rough terrain.
My 6 year old is ready for more speed and power with the DS50, anybody have some good ideas?
