Jetting question????

Well the time has finally come for a new pipe. After much thought and many phone calls to a lot of different manufacturers I finally decided on the Big Gun complete system. What I did though is order the complete race exhaust as well as the quite core to swap in if necessary depending on riding area. I also broke down and ordered the direct mount K&N filter (SN2550) along with an Outerwear water repellent filter cover.
What my question is; what jetting due some of you other Big Gun owners recommend. I ride mainly at sea level up to about 2000 feet. Right now I am running a 175 with a K&N with outerwear in the box with the air box cover removed.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have the Gun pipe with N&N on the carb, 40-pilot jet, needle clip 3rd from top and 162.5 main in the summer. When I ride glamis I have started with a 190 and worked down to a clean hard pull with a 165. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I have the Big Gun race series and run a 175 I believe. I live in Sacramento which is like 100 feet abouve sea level and ride here, at Pismo Beach, Sand Mountain and the High Sierras (around 7,000) no problems. (Knock on wood)

Yes this is with the 45mm carb, I have played with a 162.5 and a 160 and I did not feel a huge difference.

Well I just got home from Coos Bay, Oregon. Had a blast except for the weather. It rained a lot. I rode once with the stock pipe on then changed over to the Big Gun complete race. I also installed the sn2550 K&N direct mount filter with a water repellent Outerwear. I changed the main jet to a #185. I already have the dynojet kit with their needle (can not remember the #) and I believe it is either in the second or third clip,
I let the high temp silicon cure over night. The bike started right up with just a little full choke. After 2-3 min moved to half choke then to no choke. Bike settled into a nice idle with no adjustments. BOY THIS THING IS LOUD!!!
Went out for a short low speed ride. Quickly noticed the rubber line right next to the pipe coming up out of the case was starting to melt. (UH OH) A couple of zip ties moved it out of the way for now. Over all the pipe and filter combo made drastic improvements to both power and throttle response.
