Baja 1000
#1
THE RACE THAT IS (no this isn't a new bike!). I was interested to see how the Bombardiers finised, given its win in the 2000. They finised 3rd and 6th in a field of Hondas (where were all the Raptors??). Just finishing this race is a great tribute to any machine.

Does anyone have any info on the Hondas used to race the Baja 1000? I heard that the Race winning machine, included items like an $8,000 chassis - not to mention what other high dollar goodies someone with an extra 8G has to buy. So, for what kinda aftermarket DS650 chassis could be built for $8,000? Interesting thought. I don't think there is much of a market for it though, most people aren't racing the Baja 1000 with their DSs, however I bet Greg might be interested in one of those $8,000 units if one were produced.
