sand45,
I think that weekend is open, but I won't go that far with out the DS760.It is in million pieces right now and I dont think I will have it back together before that weekend.I am waiting on a another tranny (be here in 2 weeks),then have to send it out to get the gears undercut(another week)After that I send it out to get it Chryo treated(another week)
With all this down time I might just polish the whole motor & powdercoat the frame.Mean while I am chroming anything I can easly unbolt, except for the a-arms & swing arm which I plan to replace in the near future.
Sorry back to subject I probably will go to Sand Mountain NV that weekend because it's close 3 1/2 to 4 hrs drive for me.It sure is nice now having the Baja,I dont lose any riding time

Yes,I have to say "i'm in envy". Here is a guy that just dropped $5000+ in that message alone and thats not to mention the $6000+ for the pami and nitrous already on the quad. He buys a DS baja so that he has something to ride while the hot rod is in for repairs and now he's talking about hot rodding that one. Thats pure passion for the sport but, and I think I speak for most of the guys on this forum, you're making me jealous.

I know its an ugly trait but someone had to say it.

JSsDS,
Gosh, don't know how to respond to that.I guess I am lucky I can aford my addictive habit.Didn't mean to make anyone jealous
By the way all the chrome work is trade work (wired up the guys shop equipment months ago,he's just paying me off in chrome & polishing work)

Jeff, I've only raced Don at Dumont. Comp is steep but short. So if I get the hole shot it doesn't give him much time to blow by. He's beaten me by a couple of bikes and we've also been pretty even too. To be fair his bike has not been running properly though. But I am extremely happy with the 703, besides I couldn't afford the 760.

sand45,I hope to get a little more power then a RW stage 2,with a little more cam lift and a step up on compression I think it's possible.
