Aftermarket CDI question?

Do you or should you make any other engine mods after you add an aftermarket cdi box( woods or pami) as in cam,valve springs,etc ? I am concerned about stock engine /valve damage.

YES, for peace of mind. PAMI valve springs and/or a forged piston with valve cutouts, otherwise your valves will hit the piston if you miss 2nd gear. I've done it twice!

To be safe add HD valve springs. I did

CALDS650, how much do the pami heavy duty valve springs cost?

I believe PAMI valve springs are $200 a set.

Mine are RW about $160.00 plus tax and shipping
