I got some qustions on building a motor. Right now i have ron wood stage one. I need to go bigger. Theres a local shop Who could put a high compression piston, cams, valves, valve springs, And alot of head work,(which they are known for). Or go with a team pami 703, but i am consernd on how long it will last. And if something was to happen, that means i have to send it all back to team pami and pay some more moey to fix it. How much differnt in power is there between the two. What kind on durrability does the 703 have, i can get my local shop to do it for about $1500, or team pami 703 for about $1700 bucks.
Knutz, I need some good advise.
I need to know soon. I getting done in about a month.

Let me say what I've seen as far as reliability. Granted I haven't had the 703 but since Oct., but Dude it can take a beating. Knutz even commented once that I am murder on his engine. I'll run 20 - 30 races up Comp hill without even taking a break. And believe me, I've missed quite a few shift, so I've over revved that thing many times. It's tough. I'm not kissing Don's *** by saying it's the ONLY way to go, but stating my experience with his engine.
