What gap are you talking about? The fact they stick out a little farther than the plastic? If that is what your thinking of, that is necessary to get more air. Not sure what other gap you could be talking about.

Puttnutt,

That is a very good question. I think they might, but there is only one way to truly find out. The local dealer sells the Baja DSs pretty quick, so I'd have to get lucky to see one on the floor to check for that. You could try calling CT Racing and see what they say about their shroud, though each shroud will likely be a little different, and one might fit better than the other.

Blackhawk, thanks again for the pics of the shrouds.
I have a little favor to ask you ,do you think you could post some pics from the front of your ds i would like to see the shrouds from the inside,i'm asking you this because i will try to make them myself,if it's not to much trouble,i would really be greatfull if you could.

Thanks.

DSWolf,

I can take the pics from the front for you, however it wont be right away. Unfortunatly, my current situation is not very condusive to accessing my quads even though they are in the garage of the house. I need to get them out for a little cleanup and beauty shots one of these days, so I'll be sure to take some close up pics for you as well. If you want measurements etc I can help you with that as well, just send me an email with the measurements you want and I'll hook you up. Considering the CT shrouds are only $60 (compared to $150-ish for Carbon Fiber) is it really worth the effort, or are you looking for a project?
