I spoke with a rep from Bombardier today and got some very disturbing news. It seem that last night someone stole the entire trailer full of Greg Rows race bike, tools, parts, and support quads! His trailer was covered in graphics that let you know it was him, so it shouldn't be that hard to spot. It may be across the border already anyway, but if it's not, I hope we can spot this person[or persons] trying to move it. I'm sorry, but I don't have any pics to post. I'm not even sure were Greg lived, but the stuff was stolen from in front of his home.

I'm currently puting together a race team of my own, and supporting another, so I was looking forward to racing against him. It also would have been nice to have 3 DS's [at least]entered in the San Felipe 250 that's coming up in the begining of March.

I hope we can help find his stuff, and put the peratrators behind bars[or maybe under tires].

They travel all around So Cal when they see a trailer and it looks like nobody is home they just back up there truck and hook up the trailer and head for there desert hide away.

Personally, he gave me the cold shoulder when I met him, even when I offered to help his program. I still would like to see him get Bombardiers stuff back so he can race at full strength.

There has been,a rash of atv thefts around here lately. There is an atv theft ring out of OK, that have stolen over 50 quads and 3 wheelers in the last couple of months.I also have read that Honda had a real nice desert racer 650 test quad ripped off,and you know thats got to be hard to hide.I hope they get caught!

Do you have any more info on the people from 29 Palms?

Here is a picture of Greg's trailer from last weekend at the Off Road for Hope fund raising event: Greg Row Trailer

Greg was giving demo rides that weekend. Was my 1st time on a Baja DS. Seemed pretty nice, much better steering and hook up! It was a tight course so I couldn't really open it up.

Mike330R,

I wonder if some punk followed him home from that event and decided to keep the test ride machine?

I wish I woulda known he was at the Off Road For Hope, I woulda stopped by. I was there, but due to bad experiences the last two times (I've been there every year they've held the event thus far) I decided not to register or join in their events. (The first problem I had was getting to a 'ride' at 9:50am, that was set to leave at 10:00am, and finding out the group left 10 minutes earlier! Second was when the prize procedure that was 2 hours plus into the process and hadn't finished even halfway. I'm glad all of my ticket purchases went to a good cause, I certainly didn't feel like becoming a popsicle to see if I won tires or some other junk.)

I wonder if these are the same people that stole some CRF450's awhile back. This is a perfect example of why everyone should insure their machines.
