Vegas650,
Of coarse I ride,I just help out a friend at his stand for something to do between rides and it gives me a chance to meet alot of people. I look forward to a ride with a large group of DSs, think of the looks we'll get when people see that many DSs in one place. its gunna be great.

Sand45 and Bat, great to see you guys are going to make the trek... I'm never complaining about the drive again after seeing the effort you guys are putting out. But then..why am I talking to you..you're on the road and wont be reading this..hehehe

Actually Js, I am not on the road yet. I will be leaving at about 6pm friday night and should pull in sometime between 3-5 am, depending on how much I have to stop and how many police I see .

Unfortunately I have to take my son to the doctor today, he keeps saying his throat hurts. I hope it does not disrupt our plans to camp. He says he is fine and wants to go camp, but then he says his throat hurts. He is only 4 and we will see. I hope the doc can give him some medicine and by the time we get there he is feeling better. He loves to go to the dunes, he doesnt really ride them, except on daddys bike, in front of me. He has a 50 and really likes to do circles on the flatlands.

I really want to make this trip and I am sure he will be fine. It should be a blast and I look forward to meeting all of you.

Oh, and vegas if I pull in that early, I will probably pull off and crash in the truck until daylight, so I can see where I am going and so I can find your camp. I also dont want to be waking up the neighbors.

A friend of my wifes is in barstow right now and she said they made it from here to there in 9 hours. I know that my truck will go as fast as I want, but I usually just do about 3-5 over the speed limit. But I don't like to stop, I like to get where I am going and driving at night, the wife and kid can sleep instead of asking if we can stop every hour.

I will be there, as long as the boy does not come down with something.

As of tonight, I'll be there with the 760, but the 45MM carb will be on it. Too many bugs to get around and not time to test befor going, so I'll sort it out in a week or two.

Hopefully, I can find you camp this time Al. If not, I'll be in the same area I was in last time.

I have to answer this one for Lyle. All the motors are built the same. Lyle does a superb job at fine tuning and set up. I guarantee that he can get on anybody's quad and given enough time make it as fast as his own. Set up is the crucial difference. Also, Lyle is a great rider. He definitely helps make the Sparks stuff look good. Scott
