Lyle is a friend of Curtis. He has been racing ATVs for some time and really enjoys helping devwlop and fine tune some of the hot rods that Curtis builds. He has a TRX 420 2-stroke that is waiting for a chassis right now, a 416EX (his wife's quad) and his Dad's CR500. He has access to some of the other stuff that gets built here, including the 690 Raptor that was at Glamis for the 4-stroke Quad wars. He is on this forum as TeamSparks. Sparks Racing

 

Sparks, any of you, Do you guys have something against the DS? I am not bashing you in any way, shape, or form, just wondering? You have spent alot of time developing some hot rides and even the craptors, why havent you built a DS? Noone will deny that the motor on the DS is one bad motha that can acheive some unbeleivable numbers. I shure would like to see you take one and work on weight savers and power builders for the DS. Maybe you could find a way to get the DS drunk? We know what Knutz can do, and RWR, but what can you do? that what I want to know. Again I think you guys are awesome builders, and what you have done is obviously very impressive. just a little arm nudge for a challenge to you. not a competition thing, we just want to see ya strut your stuff on a DS.

 

We choose what motors we build based off of what gets raced at the ATV nationals and what we get tons of calls for at the shop. We get just a few calls for DS stuff at the shop and no one races them at the ATV nationals. We are limited in what we can do and we have chosen to pass the DS.
