Why are there no results posted for Dumont? How about some vids? I will put it up on a website if you want.

Hey Jeff, I'll be their! I've aleady marked off vacation time and told my Wife to do the same. I would'nt miss it, As far as I'm concerned this should be like a "Sturgis" for DS's. If it was legal in all states, I would ride my DS there(properly equiped).Anyways If the "Central Chapter"(LOL)expects the "West Chapter"(he he)to ever make a trip to a DS event in LS OK. Then we darn sure better show our support for these "DS DAYS" in Nevada. Later.

P.S. how far is Sand Mountain from Las Vegas?

Bigger, I believe Knutz told me he made the trip in 6 hours last year.

Jeff, I am doing my best to show up for Sand Mtn.
I am just bginning to feel better. I had to go back to the doctors cause I was feeling worse every day. Turns out not only did my sinus's become infected but also my ears. The actul injury hasn't bothered me from day one.(I tolerate pain really well)!

I'm sorry to hear that your not recovering quickly Al. Gotta hate complications.

I just drove to and from Reno last week, and it was 7 hours. Sand Mountain is a little closer, so between 6 and 7 hours is accurate.

Thanks guys, So I guess Reno is alot closer to Sand Mountain. I'm just tying to think ahead, My wife is not a big sand/dune fan,but she is determined to see what all the Hubbub is about. But my thinking is that she's not going to want to stay at the dunes all weekend. So If you guy's can give me some Ideas,Alternatives to Duning for the Lady's that would be great. Thanxx

BiggerISbetter- fill up the truck, hand here your visa card. Give her directions to the biggest mall. I bet she can buy more in 8 hours than you can pay for. LOL.

biggerisbetter,
Shopping in Fallon (25 mniutes from Sand Mtn) is pretty boring for the profesional shopper(like my wife or yours)If the girls make a Reno trip they might be content (I think 1 1/2 hrs or less)plenty of shopping and things to do.............just a thought.
