Kodiak01, i do mostly woods riding and race the wnyoa hair scramles. the 52 inch trail is a little tight on the old ds. i did have my a arms shortened by 2 and 1/2 inches though and that made a huge difference. i would still like to get a set of different offset wheels though for just that much more. once i get the front end through i can manuever the rear, but it is a lot different than my 250r was.

the 2 and 1/2 inches is total not each side, just wanted to clarify that.

Hey guy's if you go to most quality tire shops you can order the offset you wish douglas has a wide varity of offsets ive used in the past.i get most of my tires from bobs cycles in phx.602-437-3148 good luck!!!

I contacted Douglass and was told that they do not make wheels with an offset that will decrease the width of the DS650. They said that they only make an offset that will make it wider.

I hope that Knuts will be able to help us "skinny up" our DS! (Please?)
