"Results compairing the two were within 1HP of each other thoughout the power band" What was the peak HP increase over a stock DS? Was it close to the 5-6 HP that was mentioned? I don't plan on a pipe, just the K&N and jet kit I already have and was going to add the rev box, is it worth the $300-400? Will I see a noticable difference? Does the advanced timing help out at the bottom end?

Knutz -
thanks a lot for the technical input.
Does the Pami box have a rev limiter at all, or without all together?
Do you know what the cost is?

Sand45 -
what'd you pay for your Graydon?
Are you syaing it has a rev limiter, and cuts out at 9300?

Unless your first name is Jeff your hp is going to stop at, or before 8500, you have to have alot of motor to make hp over 8500!.

I haven't had the 703 dyno'd yet but watching my tach when I'm racing hills says peak horsepower is somewhere between 7,000 and 7,500 rpm. I'll bet I'm close too.

the very first thing i bought for my ds was a rwr cdi and on flat pavement it didn't even give me 1 mph more, but it helps with mods and not hitting the rev limiter all the time

I didn't notice the rev limiter till I put on a slip-on. Then, Bam, immediately, doing jet runs, what a pain.
The stock exhaust end cap is so restrictive, opening it up in any way adds low and mid range power and more rpm.
The Pami CDI is great. It doesn't need a limiter. I am getting a tach, that will be really nice for all this shadetree tuning.
