Sand45, I am not trying to start a quad bash, I guess I don't make sense to people. I was just trying to get all you guys to get along, I guess it came off as rude to some people. I don't own one, your right, but I just think it is great what Cannondale is doing for our sport. I was not bashing the DS, it is a nice quad and if I only dragged/dune rode, I would buy it if I were going to buy a 4 stroke. I was also taking offensive to the Ds owners because I'm sure Cannondale guys make fun fo DS' if they ever go to the track. Anyway, here's some advice, I guess. &quot;You win some, you lose some&quot; so don't get pissed when you get beat. Hey, I got beat by a little 80 dirtbike, but only because if I would have went any faster I would have made the 80 fly into rocks, but winning is winning. CornDog, you need to uunderstand that your going to be beat, face it you can't mod a Cannondale like you can mod... any other quad on the market(except mini's) so once a Rap. or DS start witht he pipes you're going to get beat.

 

yeah, and the thing you don't understand is that a piped raptor cannot beat a cdale...

<< Corndog-I bet 5 dollars you are 17 years old, your mommy and daddy bought you the cannon. Just tell them you made a mistake and should have gotten a Bomb650/Raptor. If you put some tears behind that, it might work. It works for my 10 year old.

The 650/660/cannon 100 percent stock are real close, no one is going to win 100 percent of the time. Common knowledge the raptor comes to life when you let it breathe/exhale. I have won more than lost against the ds650. The 650's i ride with are probably faster than mine, there problem is the 100 plus weight difference.( rider and machine ) Even then the difference is minimal. Fixing that with the trinity motor.

Your cannon comes with aftermaket exhaust standard, i doubt that changing to a different exhaust will net you more that 2 horses! Until cannons get a engine builder like , knutz, trininty, sparks, woods, cannons are going to be stuck on a mx track where 40 hp is enough. If you were going to ride with our group, you would have to stay at camp when we go on the &quot;man ride&quot;.

If cannons were fast/had hp potential i would buy one TOMMOROW! I enjoy going fast! But at this time, you can't get there with a cannon.

new pipe and remap and i have 61 hp. my cannondale beat a piped raptor, but maybe they but a raptor engine in mine on mistake[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] you have never seen a cdale in action, i have seen and beaten raptors. i really don't see why you would get a raptor if you want to go fast. if you want to go drag get a shee, if you want to go fast in any other type of racing besides dragging get a cannibal. i understand where you are coming from, i almost got a 2002 raptor until i watched a stock cannibal smear a raptor with a big gun full system and some other things. one more thing, the cannibal handles and jumps 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 0000000x better than a raptor.

I dont know where people get the Cannondales are poorly built, they probably have the best fit and finish of any quad. I have absolutly no rust at all on mine. I have yet to see a Cannondale frame crack because its made of aluminum, if you want to talk about cheap aluminum, Ive seen 3 different raptors (2001) crack there sub-frames from minor roll-overs. I've rolled my C-dale 3 times now, not a dent on the frame, and they weren't just roll overs the bike tumbled down a few times, one time it even landed in rocky creek bed. Also Stock for stock a Cannibal will beat a Raptor, the Cannibal &amp; DS is a more even match, though the C-dale is slightly faster, but with pipes the Raptor &amp; DS are both faster than a piped C-dale, but even a stock C-dale will holeshot a piped DS or Raptor. Hey Corndog, theres no way you got 60HP with just a pipe and a remap. Also why does anybody care each quad has its own purpose:
Cannibal=Racer
DS650=Dunes &amp; Desert, also very reliable for long rides out in the woods and it would rule a European style natural terrain MX track
Raptor=All Around quad
Banshee=drag racer
LTZ400=woods
400EX=for people who cant handle the other ones[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] j/k

Ps. no bashing here just facts from my experience, there all good quads.....well unless its a honda.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] j/k again. I like picking on the Honda people, there so funny when there angry.
