How are those lectron carbs running? I have not heard much after the install.

Do any of you have high comp pistons and cams, and if so how does the carb do? What size lectron do you have?

Any info on these carbs would be great.

I wonder if they are not impressed. All the hype died quickly.

I tried to reply last night but this page was to slow. I love mine, great throttle response, easy to work on, priced right. I would put it up against any other carb.

jmomb,
How is the power through the range? Did you gain/loose any top end or gain/lose low end power? What are the noticable differences with the lectron?

If I remember correctly, you werent able to ride right after you installed the carb , have you had a chance to take it out and really test it yet?
Let us know whats up

Guys,
Here is what I have to offer on the lectron. I have the 44mm with big K&N filter off of it.

Mine came from FastbyGas and was thought to be jetted close. I had to turn the needled a ways and find a bigger top end jet for it before I was happy. It is so easy to work on and make adjustments. I mean only minutes to turn the needle or put in a larger top end jet. I love the plastic bowl on the bottom because it allows you to see the gas flow. I had trouble testing mine because as soon as I put it in my clutch went south. I guess the torque was too much for it. It is now replaced and the bike seems to be hitting hard on the bottom, mid and top ends.

With the filter and setup that I have it really wants to breathe. Make sure to give it enough air. If not it won't change much from stock. If you are putting full race exhaust and other performance enhancements I might recommend the 46 and port out the intake. I don't think it would take much to find pieces to make a good fit but I'm not the expert. I also cleaned up my intake system and made it an exact fit so that I didn't have anything in the way.

It is a cheap test to start and I am happy to this point. A few more trips should test its durability. I raced it on an MX track on saturday and it accelerated hard. Lets just say the hole shot wasn't hard to get.

Hope this helps. I can post some pics if anyone is interested?

Don't get me wrong the plastic float bowl is solid. Very thick but still can see through it. Allows you to watch the flow without tearing it apart every time.

I will post some pics tonight or tomorrow.

How did the tests finish? What was the total cost to get it on your Quad?
