Whats the deal with Brian. We ordered a gas cap, brake res cap, and a dip stick for 89.99. We did not get the dip stick. We ordered on 2/12/02 and today is 3/13/02. It has been one month and no dip stick. I went to their web site and I noticed that the dipstick is no longer apart of the kit but it was when I ordered it. Eveytime I call the guy keeps saying that he owes me one and will be in soon I think that he is putting me off. If anyone has ordered from Mod Quad and got a dipstick let me know so I know if they are back ordered or he is putting me off. I paid for 2nd day air and no one told me that it was not supposed to be there. I a unhappy with this and I dont suggest anyone order from them because I think they are screwing me around.

 

Hurycne- it is hard to figure some shops out. Nothing pisses me off more than getting the run around. If you don't have the parts, tell US. I will order somewhere else. I WILL try you next time. I ask if they will personally go check. You can't rely on, my shipment comes on monday and your parts will be on it.........

 

I had also some delays getting a cdi module, they said it was a computer problem and they just got a new computor. I got my cdi after they shipped it via ups, 2nd day so i would have it for the weekend. I don't think he's perposly screwing you around but maybe you should ask him specifically if he has it and/or when you will get it. Dont let him off the hook until you get the answer you want to hear. My .02

What do you mean by this. I have been ordering parts for quads from online places for a while and never had to wait that long unless it is a custom part like shocks or something.

I feel sorry if you have to wait 4-6 weeks to get a part that is in stock at the supplier. Have they not ever heard the term &quot;drop ship&quot;. I can understand if it is a manufacturer problem or delay. But if the part is in stock at some warehouse, why in this day and age should it take 4-6 weeks to get it.

I really did not want anything for free but I wish someone wuld have told me it is gonna be a couple of weeks. I have no problem waiting for quality. He told me that it was not under his control I just did not want things to change and me not get my part. (before the dipstick was included and now it is not)

Well after posting almost 2 weeks ago and here and ordering a month and a half ago I still have not received my part. Pretty sad in my opinion. Thanks for the help anyway Marky I was sure posting on here would get things rolling.
