Where can I get a DS650 Baja front bumper for my '00 DS650?

 

Dealership - $109.00.
I bought one 6 months ago for my yellow DS.

 

Rocky Mountain also offers a pretty good selection. I've bought some DG hardware from them and have been very pleased with their service. They also offer free shipping on DG and some other product lines (I think however, that some of the shipping is cushioned in their product price).
It still turns out to be a very comparable price. Many of the dealerships here will try to turn you upside down to drain ever penny they can from your pockets. I believe in supporting local dealers to a certain extent, but when they are charging close to 50% over what I can order them for, I draw the line.... Maybe you have a dealer that won't put the screws to you. If so try them out....

 

I may have mis-understood the original question - I was refering to the bumper that comes stock on the Baja DS. The only place to get this is from the dealer. I got it 'cause my girlfriend said it looks like the chesser cat grin on Alice in Wonderland, and it follows the natural lines of the DS's nose very well.

There are many sources for aftermarket bumpers, do a search on the net. Graydon, PRM, AC Racing, White Bros., to name a few.

 

For anyone who wants a Stock Baja bumper, why not see if you can 'trade' with the owner of a Baja DS. Offer to buy a lighter aftermarket aluminum bumper in trade. this would benefit both the person with the desire to pay a little less for a Baja bumper, and the owner of the Baja if he/she was hoping to pick up an aluminum bumper. It'ed be great for the Baja owner, a free aluminum bumper, who could ask for more?

 

PRM-ATV is where I found some bumpers. Just FYI for another choice.

 

Check out the AC racing front bumper on the Alba DS they used for the baja 1000 this year. It looks good on every quad I've seen it mounted on. That's the bumper I want.
