Ok if I were to get Triple rate shocks all around would it increase my height any? Could I set up the First spring for 2" of SAG, the second for 2" of small bump travel, & the third for 8" of big jump travel? What the advantage of Remote over Piggyback? What does it mean to have Hi/Lo speed adjustments? Does anybody have aftermarket shocks? What brand, spring rates, reservor type, & adjustments do they have? And how much did you pay for them & do you like them?

Thanx for all the help, I made some adjustments to my stock shocks today & found them very limiting. Why is there 2 adjusters on top of the stock rear shock?

Is it worth it to have the hi/lo speed adjustments? If I get them I think the Elkas would be the best choice.

When I installed the Works triple rates w/rezzies they lifted my front end over 3" as well. I figured it was because I had the preload on the stockers as soft as it could go (4+ in of sag) to make up for their crappy dampening issues. I ordered the shocks without preload adjustability and I didnt compare overall length so I don't know where the extra hight came from but I assume they figure in a couple more inches of travel to help with the progressive spring rate. Maybe not, who knows. I'm not a shock expert but I can tell you that they make a big difference in ride quality and (just as important) comfort so that makes them worth every penny I spent on them. I was able to get the rear shock "very acceptable" with the adjustments provided so I think I will keep it as is for a while, spend money on speed instead.

I have TCS on my DS at first the Front had no sag and they lifted my front also. I sent them back and had them adjust them for more sag. Now when I ride though the woops I just give it more gas for a smooth ride.
