Who out there has a -1" swingarm? How do you like it, how does the bike jump, wheelie, what effect on drags, etc.? How much lighter than stock is it, how much difference in front weight bias, etc.? What did it cost, from where?
Anybody got an aftermarket in stock length? Same questions above apply...

I due not have one but I am looking at getting one. TimmyBoy make one sell for around $600.00. It is 11lbs lighter than the stock and you will have to get the rear shock re-valued. TimmyBoy will make from -1 to +4.

Jbomb has one on his DS. It looks great! I think he wheelies-up more easily than a stocker, but its not "3wheeler-like", Just makes the front lighter under acceleration . Maybe he will jump in and tell us if he would buy the same one agian,Or not.

HEY! Jbomb, you got your ears on?

Have you thought about running the eccentric chain adjuster all the way forward? That would be close to an inch. Of course you would have to shorten your chain.

Kicking around the idea of a shorter swingarm huh HITOWER? That may not be a bad decision. It would probably make the front end light enuff to wheelie and get more play out of that big machine. The idea of shortening the chain may be an easy way to find out if you like it or not.

I have the Timmyboy -1. I strickly dune with this bike and love it. Going through the whoops is easier because you can keep the front end up easier. On dirt is where I notice it the most because of the traction gain. Drag racing is a little harder because it will wheelie a little easier. Overall I love it.

Taking links out and moving the adjustment forward will only give you a half inch, but not a bad idea. You'd have to break the chain and install a master link to change front sprockets though, and you couldn't go bigger, only smaller. I go from 16 to 17 from time to time, 16 the most. I could no longer go to 17.

Hey eRAPTOID, will my DS with a -1 swingarm wheelie as well as your Raptor with the +2 if I leave off the front fenders and install aftermarket a-arms making the front a total of about 15 pounds lighter too? This makes the whole machine 26 pounds lighter, gotta love that thought...

I guess it would feel pretty close to, about the same as the +2 on the Rap. It's definitely strong enough for it ~ it just needs a little weight transssssfer. And like you said, the thought of losing 25lbs right off the nose - that's a tremendous gain. Now you would be gettin that a$$ end hooking up more and not just spinning off the line of the drags.
