What would you guys recommend to add to your antifreeze to help with cooling. I have a 2000 DS650. When I ride real slow in the woods it is getting pretty hot.

There seems to be a few guys having trouble with their Bomb's running hot. I think the first thing I am going to do when I get my DS 650 is: Dump the coolant and mix it at 80% distilled water and 20% propylene glycol antifreeze. Put a manual switch on the fan and just run it full time on the trails. If that doesn't work I'm going to look into putting a gauge on it and verify the run temp and if the fan isn't keeping it cool, I'll put one on with better flow. You can also try watter wetter or some other product known as engine ice. I don't have a lot of faith in the last two though.

stevescrambler - see also the thread about DS cooling fans dying - alot of coolant info going on there too, as we speak. Rockey made the same recommendation there, and AZSAND did some testing to prove to everybody that 80/20 mix does indeed cool much better.
I never had my red light come on 'til my fan died. Now it does once in a while when riding slow trails for a long period, but once I open up in 3rd or 4th she cools right down. I'm going to the 80/20 mix, and if the red light still comes on I'll replace the fan.
