I just called MSD and they said within a year. I also called ron woods and they said I most likely wouldn't feel a difference until about 6500 to 7000 rpm. I told them I mostly do trail riding and never really get into that rpm range. So I guess I will stick with the stock box. Thanks for the help.

Wow, Ron Wood told me what I wrote above, and as soon as I installed it I felt it all. They need to get their stories straight.

Check out the "End cap dyno results" thread from Knutz - it shows what a CDI can do. Stock bike, stock carb, stock pipe and stock end cap, with K&N filter and Pami CDI showed 50.8hp on the dyno. Sure, all bikes are a little different, and all dynos are a little different, but even considering the most conservative of telerances and variances, the combination of a high flow filter and CDI box has a considerable advantage well worth the expense.
