Once you have it set up correctly it is great. It can and will keep track of ridding time for each ride. Total ridding time on your quad. Distance traveled on a ride as well as accumalated distance. Your current speed, Average speed, Max speed. And much more. It's a little tricky to get used to reading it while on the move. But you'll get the hang of it. So far I've used it the most to see what my max speed was after a drag race.

well i dont have a bomb but i do have one on my ex and i love it. after you get it set up its preety accurate and it even has a light so you can see it at night. the fastest i have ever had it is 76.3 going down a small grade pinned. the unit it self apperes to be sturdy and yu can even bet a billet housing for it. i dont know if you have to on a bomd but on my ex i had to drill a hole in the rotor but its no big deal. anyways hope i helped and have fun riding!!

On the 400ex and DS you should drill the spindle , NOT the rotor or caliper.

Its only accurate if you front wheel is spinning correctly - the more time the front wheel spends off the ground, the more accuracy you lose.
I think they're sweet, even if its not pinpoint accurate due to keeping the front light through whoops, wheelies, etc., its way better than nothing, and I can't think of a better place to mount the sensor than the front wheel. Rears wheels slip and spin too much (if you're riding the DS like you supposed to), so that rules them and the transmition out.

Trail Tech also is making a fat bar clamp for the DS. They also have there own fat bars. (CR 500 high bend) I have not used the bar clamp but the bars are really nice! I also have the Trail Tech 50watt Tourch lights mounted on my 2000 DS were the stock Baja lights would be work great and alot cheaper than anything else.
