High Temp Light
#1
Today when i was rideing the high temp light started to flicker, So i turned it off and waited for about 20 mins. and started it back up. Then about 10-15 mins later it started again. i was rideing pretty slow cause i was going over rocks and such.It only did it when i was off the gas.Anybody have and ideas? A guy on a banshee said it might be a loose wire. I think i read something about the older ds's haveing problem,is that true? thanks

When mine started doing that the first time it was a bad temp solenoid switch. Now it's happening again. However this time it's the cooling fan. The fan has a cracked magnet and when the fan stops spinning it take me giving it a little spin to get it going again. I don't wait for the light to come on, I just pull up now and again and give the fan a spin. Don't want to overheat. I will be ordering a new fan of corse. 160+ bucks worth
