I got to meet alot of you guys from the forums,and got put a name with a face.I cant wait to go back and do it again.Got to see some realy nice DS's too.That 760 of biggerisbetter is realy fast.Scooby had trouble with his turbo but atleast he was there.I had never seen so many DS's in one place before in my life.It was so cool to see a huge long line of DS's drag racing.And I was proud that a DS(760) was there putting the smack down on most every thing. When you going back? I was there 2 weeks ago & I'm going back the 21 & 22 of june.
I go at least once a month.

Ok....who is Scooby? I was at little sahara this weekend and there was a pretty fast DS650 with a turbo that was racing to town. The guy riding it had full riding gear and matching helmet. I must have raced this bike four times and each time he would catch up at about 100 yards and then he would start to "lean in" and would be blasting all the way up to hill at the end of the strip. He got me two times in a row before I got him good enough off the line so I could try his little "lean in" move....HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT!!! I made sure to grab the clutch a few times to make sure he got his due!!! I was trying to take him out the south entrance after getting blasted by this thumper those two times.

If you visit this board....no hard feelings....it was just time for some pay back!!!

 

i was at LS from thursday to monday. i had a blast. i had the alcohol ds. i raced all weekend. scooby and the 760 both had alot more top end power than i did. i could hang with them a short bit. everone needs to load up and go to atoka to the sand drags and you can prove whos faster. its hard to tell at LS. you never leave at the same time.

 

Dsmike where is atoka? when are the drag races?

 

Atoka is in south central Oklahoma on Hwy 69.
We race there the 2nd Sat of the month from March through November.
There is a test & tune every Friday before the race.

what's the fastest you have been there? we have only took our DS once. it ran 5.45 at 54. no wheelie bar. i hope we can get more out of it next time.

 

DSmike, my best time was 6.187 Seconds @ 48.01 MPH
I had vilnrk take a couple of passes & he did about a 5.68 @ around 53MPH (I can't find that time slip) Let's just say he weighs significantly less than me. That same night I'd run a 6.42 @ 45.44 MPH
That was before I had it set up right & jetted right. It runs much better now.


I'd like for him to take another pass but he got ran over by his Raptor & is in a cast from his toes to his A$$ so it'll be a while.

 

yea i know he broke his leg. he came to where i ride and did it. i stayed at the hospital for ever. hes doin better now.
