I tried searching the archives but couldn't find anything. Where can you purchase a Graydon CDI and how much is it? I want the Graydon because of the rev limiter. I'm the type rider that needs a limiter.

I looked on their site but couldn't find it.

Hmm, not sure where to get them, but when I get my limiter, It will be a Graydon, because sometimes I miss a shift, or it kicks back into neutral, and I don't want to blow the engine, but Is the timing advance the same as the Pami limiters or Ron Woods, which is better?

I have a graydon -proline rev box it cost about 385.00 and yes it advances the timing even more than the others . I highly recomend this rev box

The CDI sold by ALBA also has a rev limiter at/about 9500RPM from what I was told on the phone. I think they were about the same price as the Graydon unit. I ended up with RWR after talking to other members, Knutz and RWR about their experiences.

All this stuff is odd - the dealers never have their stories straight. I beleive all of you, undoubtedly, but here is what the dealers told me:
The guy at Graydon told me its the same as a stock box but with an increased rev limit - no advance. $370.00
The guy at Alba told me he didn't know about timing advance, and it has no rev limiter at all. $400.00
RWR and Pami told me the same thing - timing advance and no limiter.
I know its hard to figure out who to put your faith in, don't mean to throw a wrench in the works here.

I also read a thread at another forum (don't know where the info came from, or if its true) that stated the RWR and Pami boxes come from the one and only manufacturer that makes them for Rotax, at Rotax specs. It said that boxes with limiters are not made by this same company, including the stock DS box, and therefore are not to Rotax specs. Again, don't know if this is true, does anybody else out there?

I'll take your word over the dealers any day - they don't ride!
