I didn't notice a big difference until I went to a bigger carb. I expect an even bigger increase cams that have more duration and slightly more lift. I wish I would've taken the head down to Bischoff Engines where I couldve had a buddy benchflow the head before and after. I would expect most of the gain to be above .200" and the biggest gains had to be on the exhaust side as well. My port work was mostly a good cleanup and not a real hogging out, so it retains real good low rpm velocity and makes great torque down low. If you want max acceleration for drag racing only and don't care about bottom end then some hogging out would be neccessary on the intake side.

Hurycne, I have prices for full porting, among other things, from Gary @ ATV custom cycle in Arizona. I don't have them with me, their at work. I'll get them and pm them to you... or bring them to Aledo. He does excellent work at a fair price.

i called robertson on the head work , that velocityraptor mentioned. he said he could give a standard port job, or if you want he could put bigger valves 40mm and get a lot more flow, it would run $900 to $1000, but it sounds like a woods head, so about half.
i don't know how this compares to the sam coe headwork.

when i had a stock piston and no head work i made 53HP, the last time i dynoed my bike i had 64HP. i put a woods piston in it and head work. all the POWER comes from air flow. you have to have a bottom that needs it and a top end that feeds it.
