I thought that one of the problems with clear hose from Home Depot was that the lower hose has a tendency to kink due to the two bends you must make.
Maybe that's why the hose from ALBA is higher priced?
Has anyone actually used the hose from Home Depot on the supply side?
I just installed the Heatseeker Temp Gauge using clear hose but it's on the return side, which is a straight piece. I haven't run it yet but I've used this hose for other applications and never had any problems.
I just think the kinking could be a problem on the supply.

I think its a good idea with one problem. If the masses find out where to buy the hose at you could be stuck with alot of it. Chances are that not many people would think about it, I know I wouldn't have, but say it came out as a Hot Setup in one of the rags your profit margin might fall. Good idea I just wouldn't go head first in to it and buy like 5,000'.

yeah, Ward, I thought about that, but you only buy rolls of I believe 60 feet if I'm not mistaken, and it's about a buck a foot and I figured 7-8 dollars for a kit and it would probably only cost about 3 dollars for a kit for a DS and if someone could send me hoses, I could make them for raptors, shee's and anything else.

I'd buy them but am concerned about the bottom two hoses. You'll notice in the pictures of the Banshee they are all straight lines.

Vegas, I will have mine sometime next week, so I will get some pictures and give a review of them, then if I believe they are good, I will begin to take orders for the kits.

when i work with soft copper pipes and need to bend them we use a coil around the pipe so when it bends it doesn't kink it. i dont know if u can find some kind of a stainless spring and somehow get it inside the tube where the bends are or not. anybody know if there r stailess springs or coils like that.

Upglyman, I have been thinking of something like that, I will look into those today, but after doing some looking, I believe I have figured out a way to rout it without kinking, I guess we'll find out when the hose gets here.

ok i was board today after cleaning up from the 4th party so i went to Depot and did the hose job. put the hoses on and got the orange coolent to go with the baja and as the hoses got warm they where more manageable and what i came up with was to use wire ties. a total of to be exact. i put 3 of them on the short one with the 2 bends that have to be made and 1 off the engine to the bottom of the radiator and it seems to have worked. the wire ties dont let the hose kink. they keep it more in shape. do it when the lines r warm so its easier to shape. i did it first cold and then when warm was able to get a few more clicks on them. if someone could tell me how to post pics in here i will.

Ugly, You read my mind, I went to the Pirate game today and while there, I thought to myself why not, just use ties. Also what did you use as the dye, because I assume you couldn't have ordered and got it already.
