Ok, I'm sorry, but a stock DS WILL NOT go 115mph or anything close being stock. I'd be surprised if it would do that on a dyno and certainly couldn't do that with wind resistance.
First of all the stock setup bounces the rev limiter around 74 - 76 mph. 22" tires, -3 in rear sprocket 81to 84 mph bouncing rev limiter...these numbers are from a dyno not just pulled out of my ***.
2.5 is the stock gear ratio, to rule out all variables and to give you the benefit of the doubt, let's say ratios are linear. +3" tire is equivalent to approx 4 to 5 teeth on a rear sprocket, so that's roughly 1.94 a 33% reduction (taller) add 33% to the stock mph rating and leaves you approx 100mph WITHOUT taking into consideration drivetrain loss, rev limitations, and most importantly wind resistance.
You would grenade a stock motor trying to reach that speed and frankly it would take a serious amount of cash to get the DS to rev 3,000 to 5,000rpm over it’s current limit. It would require custom grind camshafts and a lightened rotating assembly.

thats why i said on the dyno it ran 104.6mph. i know it couldn't do it fighting the wind. i have ran it in the 1000 feet and it ran 88mph. we had a 14 tooth front and stock rear with 20" slicks. we dynoed the motor 8 times staight pulling it to 10,500rpms(close to it). didn't make alot of power out there so i know it wouldn't pull it down the road facing the wind.

kawi kid who said my ds is any thing close to stock. And i looked above and failed to see the word stock in any ones reply but yours. I will guarente i can blow out 115 in a heart beat. And i don't just set in front of a key board acting like i know what im talking about im @ canyon speed way backing my mouth up every other friday. Come join me then tell me how fast a ds is!!!and as far as grenading my engine. Several people here have seen me run i have 1/8 twist throttle and my bike is at idle or wide open with no rev limiter. So please don't tell me any thing about my ds because if she makes it no next season it will be my third season on the same engine and thats running nos up till last week. when we converted it to methanol.
