i'm gunna look for a good lookin 3 3/4" tach for a single cylinder motor, u guyz have n e ideas?

Will this work with the DS and fit in the DS housing?

It will work with any 4-stroke but I don't know if it will fit in your dash.

So is this tach bigger or smaller. Because it would fit if it smaller just cut the hole smaller. If it is bigger then you could just mount it on the handle bars...

that gold thing you were talking about, is it behind the oil tank? do you mean the coil? how did you hook it up to that?

Yes it is the thing behind the oil tank, mine has a little connector, the kind that slides over a flat peace of metal...
