Anyways, I want to know the results from Atoka Sand drags from this past Friday. From what I've seen so far is that DSmike ran as fast as Randy(650maniac)760!!! 5:20et 58mph!!

WOW! I already knew that DSmike was FAST, but matching Randy's 760 Puts him in the ELETE class!

Who else was at Atoka,and what did you guys run?

I took my 250R ran some 4.7's at 63mph
And since you asked I'm proud to state that on saturday races I took first place in the trophy in pro 1 quads and took 2nd place in the money also in pro 1 quads.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
I didn't get to take the turbo raptor since the trans was busted. Maybe next month I can have it together.

 

i was there thinking i had a fast bike and i got on vilnrk 250R. it about pulled my arms off. thats got to be the fastest honda.

 

I figured Randy's bike would run alot faster. Mine runs in the 5.4's with a stage 2. My race bike runs 3.3 with a 1000cc snowmobile engine.

 

2 tenths is alot. what MPH do you run? and every track will run faster or slow. are you running on sand or dirt?

 

I run usually on sand which you will get more mph on and dirt you will usually get a better 60 foot time on. My mph on sand is around 54. With my race bike it is 107. Just remember you want to be geared as high as possible so you don't spin as much and use less gears.

 

randy and i where both running 58mph. i had a stage 1 on alky that ran a 5.41 at 54 before i upgraded to this motor. what gearing did you run on the DS? what 60' times where you getting? on both bikes. that other bike sound like a monster

 

I only ran the DS 2 times so I can't remember the 60 foot times, The DS is my play bike. I run a 17 on the front, down 2 on the rear and I run 23-10.5-12 haulers with 9 extreme paddles. If I would have had a wheely bar the times would have been better. The race bike I get 1.1 to 1.2 60 foot times. I run 29x12x15 Goodyears with 12 hooker paddles. I am just about to finish a bike that is going to run alot faster.

I ran my new front strut set up, Check out This thread For pics.
I ran a 6.19 @ 48.01 MPH. It's not real fast but my Raptor has to carry 285 lbs of extra weight!

The front struts worked great![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I lowered my 60 ft times by .14 sec! The problem is it killed my reaction times.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
I think when I had the shocks on it brought the front end up in the lights & now It launches flat.
I can cut .440 lights 90% of the time (.400 is perfect), This weekend the only RT I had that was under .520 (& I had worse!!) was a .385 (red light).
As a result I went out first round in the trophy & money classes![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] That has never happened to me before, Not even on my first race!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]
I guess at the next test & tune I'm going to have to change my staging & launching procidure to compisate for the way it launches.

Vilnrks 250(?)R is a monster!! It's the fastest I've ever seen!
