I just picked up a cycle trader to see how the used quad market was. There were 47- Banshee's (1992-2002), 41- Raptors, 21- 400EX's, 7- Z400's, 3- DS650's and some misc. rellics. I understand that the Shee has been around forever, but alot of these were less than 2 years old. The Rapter isn't even 2 years old. Was it a fad like disco? The 400EX, well, enough said. But this is the first year for the "Z", what's up with that? Does this mean the DS is A keeper?

HELL ya its a keeper!!

Anyways, I think as for the Z's, Theses are probly the people that had theirs on order(to be the first) and was A little dissappointed in the power. And the reason you don't see to many DS's for sale is the people that buy them tried the Raptor before buying and liked the DS's Ergonomics, and Big features better. After that, if you can live without reverse, there is really nothing out their that can pull you away from the DS. my.02

This might sound funny but that was one of the big reasons I bought my DS is because I saw very few used ones for sale. As for no reverse its the only thing I don't like about it but its something you can get used to quickly.
