Paint rims??? anyone done it?

I wouldn't recommend just painting them. In most cases you will not have good results. There is a product out called POR-15 that is a two part black epoxy. This stuff is extremly tough, and can be applied at home. You can also powder coat. If you anodize they will scratch easy and look like hell soon,

There's guy here that powdercoats wheels and they end up looking like they are anodized. I have the same stuff on my stator cover and oil filter cover.
I don't recommend it! Too many rocks to cause chips!
Now come to think of it. Knutz had his done by someone else. Since I haven't seen them in a while, I don't know how they are holding up.
Also the powdercoating didn't bond to the metal of our engine great so that maybe why mine has worn some.
