I saw the heelguards on the Z400 at the Sand Sports Super Show this weekend. Although IMS did not have the guards in hand, they said they are ready to ship and look like the one's on the Z400 they had on display.
They bolt directly to the Roll footpegs.
BTW - They are offering a 25% discount on their stuff if you attended to show.
With the discount, the heel guards were like $109.00 and the pegs were $175.00.
IMS indicated they were going to also offer A-Arms for the DS shortly.

<< I was kinda distracted by the IMS tricked out KFX700 though...sorry >>

Man! That thing had all the goodies. I just want to know how they were able to make all the items on that thing considering its just out of the prototype stage. I asked and just got a smile. I suspect they will be making all the accessories for Kaw/Suz so they got one early for their R&D.
I know the heel guards on my Kaw KXF400, that I bought from the Suzuki accessory catalog, look identical to the heel guards on the Z400 at their booth. Coincedence? maybe.

I just checked both web sites (IMS & Roll Design). Neither one mentions anything about heel guards for the DS650?! This despite the fact that IMS has a 'New Products' link, and Roll Design has a 'Coming Soon Products' link?!

Who is running these companies?

Someone out there must have a picture of these 'phantom' heel guards. Please provide one. Also, do they increase the tire clearance like the Diamond G heel guards so that paddle tires do not rub them? Thanks for any & all information!

I have mine ordered and will post as soon as I get them. The heel guards for The DS650 should look like the ones on the Z400. From what I see how the Z400 mounts it should increase fender clearance

I just got off the phone with a technician from IMS Products. He informed me that their new heel guards do not increase the amount of rear wheel clearance over stock. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed to hear this!

Hey Bearman...

Whats the latest on the new Diamond G heel guards? I need some soon!!!

Working on the redesigned heel guardsas fast as possible, they will be ready by the holidays and will allow plenty of clearance between the tires and fender.
