Outlander is already out on the market. The reviews are excellent. Look at the article on www.atvconnection.com main page. The thing is a pure value package designed to take a chunk out of the kodiak market.

Only thing it needs is a stronger brush bar but im sure bombardier accessories or aftermarket will take care of that

I'm pretty sure it'll be out some time this year. Its such a totally new design that I think it will take a little time for the public to catch on and put faith in it, but with Bomb's reputation I'm sure it will eventually.
When the Rally came out, the new frame design and plastic with molded in racks seemed like a nice economical alternantive that was all hyped up with technical talk, and I think some may have a fear that the Outlander is made this way for economy too. It is a really nice concept if long term durability proves well, but we'll have to wait and see.
My rule of thumb - never buy first year production of anything. This has proven itself time and again over the past 2 decades, with perhaps the worst lesson of all time being the Raptor and its transmission failures.

But theres a Bombardier shop not far from my house and they dont got any outlanders there...But I think this bike is gonna be quite a machine and will take a part out of the kodiaks. Well have you guys seen any one who owns one? like i dont think there out to buy right yet im guessing in sept/oct they should be out...Do you guys actually consider geting one?!

The Outlanders will not be available to the public untill late this fall, like October/November. I plan on buying one next spring. I think it is going to be an excellent machine. I'm not a big fan of it's Chevy Avalanche type looks, nor do like plastic racks. Butif it performs anything like it's 2 wheel drive counter part, (the Rally)it will be one sweet machine!

I would buy one in a heartbeat.

1. Bombardier doesnt have that many first year problems and if they do they fix it for free.

2. This outlander is just amazing. Look at what it has to offer. If you look at the pics in the article it looks like its got some serious power.

if i'm not mistaken bomb had a pre-production DS, then got feedback and changed a few things on the production units, they might do the same with the outlander
