Me, Rockey, eRAPTOID, Bansheewarrior, Cornbread, and a couple other guys are going to Haspin Acres, IN august 21st.
Come one come all, the more the merrier.
Trail riding, drag strip, MX track, grill, beer if they still allow it - things have changed quite a bit since the old man died.

Damn guys - there's gotta be more DS riders in Indiana than me and BigWaynster. Rockey comes all the way from Cincinatti to go to the Badlands, yet my fellow hoosiers never seem to have the time....
DS650Stage1 has an excuse - he has his own track - but what about the rest of you? I always post about rides in Indiana, but rarely see any others.

I doubt I can go- but I will check into it. Badlands is about 2.5 hrs. closer. I do want to make it to Haspins pretty soon. I have a brother in Cinci. I could visit while I'm in the area.

I know what you mean Wayne - I'd rather got to Badlands myself, but I have to make Haspin at least a couple times a year 'cause it is some great trail riding - much bigger hills than badlands.
Next month, maybe we can hook up again at Badlands?

We get a lot of weekdays off work because of our screwy 12 hour shifts. We ride weekends too, maybe you can hook up with us at badlands some weekend? Have you been there before? Where abouts is Van Wert?

I haven't yet been to Badlands. I'd like to ride together sometime when our days off meet. Van Wert is about 30 minutes East of Fort Wayne, IN. Kinda boring here...

badlands is dry and dusty allright.
Haven't been to haspin for a while, but I'd guess that clay dirt is like concrete pavement right now. The shady woods trails will be pleasant without the usual mud, but that MX track will peal you like a banana if you wipe out on a double!

HA ! Thats why when I was talking to a guy that has been there,(Haspins) he said he liked badlands better because a wipeout there was more forgiving..
